3D Apparel Fit Development

Using a base style of pant, I am working on creating several styles of pant. Fitting in 3D as I go saves time and money in fit samples.
I constantly switch back to 3D mode to ensure fit and style lines work. Here you'll see the pieces of other styles disabled around the avatar.
I use a rendering with the model measurements requested by my client to fit the garment and get approval before moving to creating a physical sample.
When rendering I can add details such as this gem button and shiny satin fabric
Garment fit maps calculate areas of tightness or stress, I have kept some areas loose since this is a fitted garment in a non-stretch fabrication
Rendering in 3D creates a realistic snapshot that can be used for marketing
